Michel is passionate about coaching leaders who are committed to doing great work and making real impact—the kind of leaders who wrestle with big, immediate problems while building cultures where people thrive.
With over 20 years as an educator, facilitator, and coach, Michel brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial savvy and research-backed rigor to her work. She holds a Master's in Education and taught middle and high school history before building and running her own businesses since 2006. Along the way, she co-founded Space Between, a non-profit bringing mindfulness practices to Washington State schools, and wrote Emerge Mindfully: Less Stress and More Joy From Difficult Times.
Drawing on positive psychology, neuroscience, organizational psychology, and somatic experience, Michel helps leaders interrupt cycles of reactivity, build curious and motivated teams, and stop working hard so they can start working smart. She's both compassionate and direct—ensuring her clients move forward while having fun and living fully.
An ICF ACC-credentialed coach, a SeattleCoach, and an insatiable learner, Michel lives with her family on Bainbridge Island, where you'll find her listening to birds, playing in Puget Sound, or exploring the mountains on her skis.
