"Like you, recent events have given me time to reflect. Since 2008, I’ve loved every minute of creating a state-of-the-art coach training program and attracting nearly 500 smart and attractive coaches and coaching leaders to it. Lately I’ve been thinking about what comes next—as SeattleCoach grows, and as the practices of many of you grow, how will we keep our edge? Our connections? Our magic? Our impact?
"Coaching can get lonely. As with any rigorous and caring profession, the human capacity to support and challenge can erode when you get bored, overwhelmed or lacking in hope. And as humans, your coachees will attach their own meanings to what they see (“it must be me!”). When a coach becomes isolated, it’s always costly to their craft, to their presence and to their ethical confidence.
"And maybe then coaching becomes less fun. And when coaching stops being fun, you will stop getting better . . . "

The Requirements for joining a Supervision Cohort . . .
I ask members to join a Supervision Cohort for six months at a time. The "door will open" for departures and new arrivals every six months (Fall and Spring) with a steady max of nine coaches per Cohort.
The time commitment is two hours a month with your Supervision Cohort + at least one hour of preparation/pre-work . Optionally, members may schedule with each other for bartered coaching.
Cost is $900 per six months. As with supervision groups in other professions, there will be no limit on re-upping.
Though I will bring resources, Supervision is less a "class"--and it's not mentor coaching for ICF requirements. It's more of a wise and customized team consultation. Much like "rounds" in the the development of medical residents, we will challenge you to review and apply all of that stuff that you on-boarded during coach training, and since. We will expect you to bring your projects, aspirations, and your content creation to our times together--along with your coaching presence, your curiosity, honesty, and courage. All of our work will respect confidentiality and some of it might inspire collaborations.
Because of our emphasis on coaching/facilitating with groups and teams, SeattleCoaches in Supervision have permission to use Patty's "Intro to Coaching" Workshop content and deck. You just find or create the audience!
To apply to join a Supervision Cohort, please fill in the form below with your info and preferences. I'll let you know about upcoming openings.
