Our Two Coach-Training Programs

Back to About

Our Flagship Program is for participants seeking international certification by our credentialing body, The International Coaching Federation. These Cohorts of up to ten participants meet together through most of eight months of coach-specific training through two sequential modules:

  • Module I, "The Coaching Alliance: Process, Change and Key Skills," and
  • Module II, "Personal Presence and the Core Competencies of Coaching."

Our track record shows that SeattleCoaches are well-prepared for assessment, examination and certification by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Our Coaching for Leaders (CFL) program is designed for companies who seek to infuse coaching skills and presence into their overall definition and experience of effective leadership. CFL is a shorter and more customized version of our executive coaching education.

Both programs focus equally on two core elements, each crucial to solid leadership as a coach:

    1. The essential skills to learn, practice, refine and to then personalize.
    2. The essential presence that flows from a leader/coach’s awareness of their own style, niche and specialty.

In both SeattleCoach programs, coaches become members of the SeattleCoach tribe and tend to build life-long alliances and friendships. Because when coaches have allies, they do far better work and have far more fun.

We are stocked with scores of unique personalities and styles, each one making us better whether meeting virtually or at our world headquarters on the dock on East Lake Union.
