Once you've been awarded your Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential . . .
Door #1
You can stay at the ACC level forever. But every three years you have to renew your credential. This requires 40 more hours of “Continuing Coach Education” (CCE). We recommend the following as best ways to do that:
Door #2
By joining a SeattleCoach Module III, you receive additional ICF Accredited CCEs, and you also get another year in the company of some great SeattleCoaches. Plus, during any SeattleCoach Module III, we will observe and give live-action feedback to each member at least twice. We’ll include more mentor coaching if requested by the cohort, but it’s not required.
Plus completing The ICF’s Complimentary online Ethics course (3 hours). You may repeat this every three years. You need to be a member of ICF and log in to take this brief course.
As a renewing SeattleCoach graduate, you never have to retake The ICF’s Credentialing Exam.

However, as you continue to build your coaching log--and your expertise--you may want to consider applying for the next level of professional credentialing, Professional Certified Coach (PCC)--especially if you've completed over 300-500 hours with at least 25 coachees. Up-leveling too requires 40 more hours of “Continuing Coach Education” (CCE).
