"Go into life and work thinking, 'hit the ball to me!'"
Bruce Larson, long-time Seattle minister and mensch
Patty is a seasoned coach, an experienced leader, business consultant, storyteller, personal counselor and licensed systems therapist. Through three decades—both as a leader and as a coach of leaders—she has trained and mentored thousands of individuals and their groups toward more effective performance, communication and meaning. In her early years of leadership with an international Christian non-profit, Patty learned and practiced the passions of an entrepreneur, communicator, and successful manager, both in the US and in the former Soviet Union. During that time she wrote and spoke extensively about, The Powerful Percent: the university students (always, it seems, around one percent of the world's population) who become the leaders of each new generation. Her faith still deeply informs her work as she listens for God and looks for his presence.
With two masters degrees, one in Theology and a second in Applied Behavioral Science, and as a Professional Certified Coach, Patty works with senior level executives, directors and managers. Her approach is warm, practical, innovative, generous and playful. And her effectiveness can be measured by the success of her professionally credentialed SeattleCoach Training Program which launched in response to leaders seeking to more deeply understand how she and other successful coaches work. She lives near the Seattle Zoo with her partner, Dr. Kari, a veterinarian/professor, and with a revolving assortment of creatures, including new pup, LucyDoodle.
