I've designed
this
group to help members evaluate their present career/life path.
As with
most of my groups, I start with
the assumption that everyone in the group wants to be more clear and
genuine about a few things in life:
1.
"How do I approach incoming information?
2.
"What are my most core and lasting skills, gifts and passions?
3. "How can I spend more of my hours in the energy of my core
strengths, making a great
personal and profession contribution?
4.
"And is there
resilience in my style—particularly
in times when the pressure is on?
5.
"Other than money, how do I like to be compensated?
6.
"How can I better balance my work with my personal life?
7.
"What is it that can make me difficult to live/work with?"
8.
"How can I make the time to stay fit, healthy and full of physical
energy?
9.
"How am I able to have a sense of meaning through it all? And ideally,
10.
"How can my manager and team best support me?"
Through our six
months together,
each
member finds support
from both me and the group
as
they:
1. identify and
clarify their personal values,
skills, passions
and compensation models,
2. learn further information about their
personality
and temperament style,
3. design interviews and experiences to test their hunches,
4. and actively participate as a member of a team, giving and
receiving challenge and
support and continuing to
test, learn and move toward more satisfying options--either with their
current profession/employer, or
elsewhere.
I choose
appropriate assessments to use,
based on members' needs.
It's been my
experience that, since careers rarely
move in a straight
line, some (not all) group
members will
make a significant external career move
in the course of our time together.
My larger expectation is that all members will see
changes in their sense of who they are and what they can contribute in this chapter of
their lives.
Groups meet
once
a
month for
three hours, with assignments, homework
partners and an
individual
thirty-minute coaching
call with me between sessions. Your presence at each
meeting will be
important both for yourself for other members of the group.
Group size is
usually limited to 6-8 people.

information just call or
