SeattleCoach is an exciting work in progress . . .
Patty's POV: "When I launched SeattleCoach in the late 1990s, I was still practicing mostly as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I began to notice that many of my favorite clients were saying, 'Patty, I'm just fine. I've done therapy. My relationship is great. Life is pretty good. But I'm restless and I don't want to stop coming here.'
"Listening to these great teachers, many of whom were accomplished leaders of organizations, I'd ask, 'Well, what would we work on?'
"The answers they came back with helped me to refine my direction as a professional coach. In the years that have followed, I've learned the craft of coaching and become a Professional Certified Coach, credentialed by the International Coach Federation. I launched the SeattleCoach Professional Training Program in the spring of 2008.
"And I have continued to love and be challenged by the hundreds of great teachers who keep showing up in my office on the dock."
